Faking it
This poem hus been
photyshopped. If ye
look really close its
pixels urnae fae
roon aboot here
an its colours urr awtae
buggery. If ye haud it up
an’ sniff its erse ye
wull likely fin’ it’s
been eatin’ quinoa
along wi’ summy that
couscous wi natural yogurt.
No that ah’ve goat ennyhing
against a photyshopped
poem ye unnerstaun
its jist that ye
need tae ken whits
real an’ whit isnae
these days, ah mean
there’s that much goes
oan that isnae right
in the world like
REALLY BIG SKIES
an’ aw they folk
that cannae tell a truth
for tellin’ alternative
truths in order tae make
folk like us feel as if
wur styoopit or
illiterate or sumhin.
But wur no daft.
Jist tell it like it is eh?
Gaunie?

No so well noo… if yer won’t stick yer famous middle digit up yer southern neighbour, and declare independence, then at least learn to speak bleed‘in proper English…
Could follow most all of it although there were a few rough spots. I have written poems with regional accents or at least individual colloquialisms and so true the difficulty is in the reader's understanding. Many took if for my ignorance in spelling. I loved this one but then I like the sound of a Scottish brogue
Got most of it. Still need to get more familiar. Gone ask me mate Rabbie🙏🏻🕊️
You got me on this!🤔
thanks all for having a go.
