Staring at the wall again, another day of feeling numb, Waiting for the silence to stop screaming where I’m from. I’m tired of the mind games and the wreckage you left behind, Just trying to find a way to breathe and keep my peace of mind.
The world is burning down and I’m just standing in the ash, Picking up the pieces of the life you chose to smash. It’s a bitter pill to swallow, this hollow kind of grace, While I’m staring at the ghost of what used to be your face.
The scars are finally showing, a map of every fight, And I’m done with all the shadows hiding in the dead of night.
You fed me lines of iron, you built a cage of lead, Replaying every single word that you never actually said. The chaos in my head is reaching a deafening pitch,
Watching you pull the lever and throw the final switch. You wanted chaos, well, you got it in the end Just another broken promise that I’m never gonna mend.
Break the chains, let it fall, let the structure collapse, I’m tired of the waiting, I’m tired of the traps. The fire is cleansing, the truth is a blade, I’m walking away from the mess that you made!
No more mending. No more lies
Just the ash. And the empty skies.
