Ode to the king:
We may be outmanned, but doth heart does not stop beating, fighting for a country that shall give you nothing in return.
You have nothing left but yourself, look left and all you see is rubble, look right and see the bloody mess of your fellow man.
Footsteps arise, turn your head and see a man willing to let his kingdom fall to die with his most loyal soldier.
Ode to the King,
a man of few words but big in heart.
Ode to the King,
to bleed for one who wouldn’t bleed for you.
Fight,
With all you have left, keep a firm hold of your sword, young soldier.
An ode to the King,
bleed out on your country soil, with your monarch by your side.
Ode to the King,
Fight. Fight like your life isn’t your own.

We are all pawns in a game of chess. Sacrificed to obtain a greater goal. Traded for advantage. Nicely written
