Oh How I wish

Fathima Shaw

Oh how I wish

Me in your arms

Songs playing in the background

Rain falling on the roof

Just pure love

Nothing more

Your laugh is my music

Your smile is my favorite moon

Your eyes, I get lost in it

Your hands are my favourite thing to hold

Even though I never held it

Your voice is my therapy

Fireworks everywhere

When I look at you

A glance is all I need

I'll be undone

Beautiful ,Mesmerizing

I want you only you

Your pure self

Drawn only to you

Your flow while doing what you love

Beautiful and graceful

 I could watch it forever

Fondly, quietly in awe.

We don't talk much

But when you're not there

I feel like a piece of me is missing

Your the part of my day which completes me

Just look at me how I look at you

Talk about me like how I talk about you

Love me like how I love you

They say you are rude

But I know you're not

You're sweet like chocolate luminous as the sun,

A rare, wondrous soul.

What a beautiful man you are

Oh how I wish you were mine.

A poetic dreaming and desire that remains unfulfilled. Nicely done
