Where The Wind Rests

Soph V Reeves

The trees speak softly to the sky

While rivers hum their silver tune

The earth exhales in shades of green

Beneath the quiet afternoon

No hurried clocks, no crowded noise

Just drifting clouds and open air

In natures calm, the heart grows still

And leaves its heavy burdens there

No need to explain - the message is abundantly clear, the poem short and sweet. I don't spend time with nature poetry normally, however your poem is just the right length to tell the tale. Many thanks.
