Stay Safe in the Madness

AuburnScribbler

Could you ignore the toxins,

inside the bathtub with you?

Would you thank the little yob

that left you black and blue?

Should you respect the MP,

who chooses to ignore?

Could you be bowing servant,

to a broken law?

Regardless of your answers,

this madness; is self-made,

direction pens; are lancers

bleeding; who is in the shade -

yet; we keep our bounds on;

to keep our hurtful play,

every single “safe word”; gone

just; happiness; decay; as

old A Pope; did coin,

“to err is human”; glad,

thus, flaw; crafts an “easy join”

mistake is not so bad,

but, maximise the level

of all “joyful faults”,

creates a life dishevelled

called: regenerate assaults,

so, if there can’t be change,

and life’s; recycled war,

we’ll remain; so deathly strange

upon the Earthy floor,

look both ways, when crossing,

duck down, from hailing sadness,

before our bodies mossing

we will stay safe; in our madness!

  • Comment from author about the poem: Seeing as it has become one of my stock phrases to use, I thought I would write a poem entitled: "Stay Safe in the Madness". It is truly "mad", and "we" have made it so, and as I keep on saying, IT'S OUR MESS, TO CLEAR UP! The banner background picture bearing the title, is a visual representation of such clumsy, hyper-actively busy, nebulousness, that has become so much, the horrendous habit, we now call, our daily routine. I hope that you enjoy and take something from this poem, yet again, it is another dim view, but hey, hopefully the more I say "things should change", they might, and as always, and in this case, and very pertinently, please do STAY SAFE IN THE MADNESS everyone!

A poem of madness, confusion woven into a world where it should all make sense. Words become a fog. Nicely done
