HOUSE OF SILENCE

Durdica Porobija

In the vineyard, you feel
Protection
Sheltered from prying
Eyes
You can finally be
Alone
Pleasantly solitary

Green vine leaves
Protect the grape clusters too
As they weep
Their berries are
Tears
White tears of the white delivara
Blue tears of the blue Frenchman
Pain everywhere
A sympathetic vineyard pain

When ripening ends
When the moment arrives
The vineyard is swarmed
By pickers
Peace vanishes
Solitude too
Laughter takes hold
Voices begin to chatter

My house of silence
Transforms into a wedding feast

A great analogy here, vineyards and grapes a traditional metaphor since biblical times. The images are great Durdica. Nicely done

Thank you! You are a grateful and sharp reader.

Kind of you to say so and you are most welcome.

Cheers ! (aided by the product of that place).
I enjoyed the contrasting pictures painted.
You could, of course turned it into a triptych with (me??) all warm and rosy in the corner...😊

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the contrasting poetic images. As for the warm and rosy in the corner - I have no experience with that.

You don't know what you are missing ! However a word of caution into your shell like: an adquate and balanced level of consumption can only be achieved after considerable experience...
