If the stars
That observe
See the power
Of my hurt
Or the tears
In my eyes
Fall downward
From the skies
Reconsider.
As I stand
All alone
And every breath
It is cold
Each beat
Of my heart
No words
How to start.
Reconsider.
The night
Falls astray
In shadows
Of yesterday
When a kiss
To my lips
Sent shivers
Pure bliss.
Reconsider.

Norman I love the structure of this poem allowing the title and main meaning to be expressed over and over to emphasize its meaning. In the same manner rhyme is sparingly used to emphasize certain elements. Clever an nicely done a fave
thanking you my friend, much appreciated
You are most welcome
A fine write N. It's high time we reconsidered if we should still wait at this bus stop! lol.
I think youre right we need a debate lol
A fav after careful consideration...
most kind, many thanks friend, always much appreciated
Norman, I felt the loneliness in this one. Sometimes one word really is all that remains when you have already said everything else. Well expressed, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
thanks and appreciation friend
