The dying sun stares
Its burning eye will not close
It knows I am here
The daylight starts to scream
Black veins crawl across the sky
Something wakes below
I whisper my last wish
The sun goes dark for a moment
Then whispers it back
Night swallows the world
But the sun still burns somewhere
Behind my closed eyes
