Peaceful day

Please don't drink let's have a peaceful day.thats what you would say.but I would sneak away chasing the fire that my body craved. Washing away the past some children can escape but some are stuck in a painful mental state .as i would  forget I'd turn into the monster full of rage just like he did.my life has been like a dream foggy memories. But I remember the warmth  of your skin the smell of your perfume the way you would  smile as the roses took bloom and ill tell you the truth I do love you that is not a dream you stood by me when others walked away trying to fix this broken man.every morning as my feet touch the floor I pray you have a peaceful day my love and as I stand here at your grave I can honestly  say I didn't  drink today .
