The baby phoenix found itself
At a crossroads
Facing the choice
Between containing a million or one
Particles of light from the sun's
Rays, which way
Would it choose?
It's been said
A solar container works best
Before 10AM
As the rays start getting
Too strong in a sky
That currently
Has no vapor canopy
Personally, the baby phoenix
Liked it this way
To see the blue sky
The clouds floating by
Witnessing the grace
Emanating from Sol's face
Landing on leaves and seas
"How many days left
Before I'm bereft
Of these scenes?"
It asked itself

A lovely write Mutley for don't we all find ourselves wondering how long we have to enjoy the marvels and beauty of this existence. Nicely done my friend
For sure. I need to remind myself daily of this! Thanks for dropping by.
My pleasure
Mutley, there’s a strange tenderness in this one. The blue sky, the leaves, the sea…and underneath it all, that fear of losing the view. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Yes, that fear. Thanks for dropping by, Tristan.
A young soul being symbolised by a baby phoenix chooses how much divine light to carry while fearing that the world's beauty may vanish before it fully awakens.
You got it!
Yay!
