We've all been brought up to indirectly follow a grand deceiver,
Souls swept up similar to a frisbee and Golden Retriever.
A faith that never materialised like Ill Na Na 2: The Fever.
This journey has wild moments and tests by one teacher,
Nutritious parables and psalms that are fed to an eater.
Middle name is in the good book, Matthew, not Peter.
Humans hate each other, that's not a pleasant feature.
Can only do my best God, from believer to Redeemer.

Good write SM. It's not nice for dyslexics, but there's the joke: 'Is there a Dog?' And from your poem: 'Is he a Golden Retriever?' heehee.
The way dog is God backwards makes you think lol.
You know that TE guy who's gone home? lol.
Lol.
A long journey from believer to redeemer the first a thought the second an action. Nicely written Shaun
Appreciate it!
My pleasure
Shaun, I like where your head is here...questioning what you were taught, owning your own road, and still trying to live something better in a world where people can be pretty damn awful to each other. Relatable and powerful, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thanks pal, we probably in Satan's little season or so it seems.
