The stupidity of humanity

Themillenialsliewithinusnow

I think I'm fading away, I see the particles gleaming and the pixels destructing, and parts of me stay in places I don't want them to be.

I don't see a footstep behind me, on the snow,

I don't sense an echo, when I scream into the void,

But most importantly, despite rolling around in it throughly, the sheets of my bed seem to remain perfectly set.

The weirdest, no one seems to mind it, not the ones who don't greet me anymore,

Not the ones who had held me whilst I cried before,

But not even the ones who stole a single glance at my eyes, and told me I could reach the top, glittery edges of the world that faded people like stars.

That sounds a little odd, right?

A bit depressed, but that's where we've all been at once, and they just simply do not see me as one anymore.

I'm raging, stomping, throwing paint at bypassers, breaking the windows and the door handles, I shout,

Where are you all keeping your promises, if not in your heart? Do you swear to the Lord, and think of the next wish, you intend to keep? Do you look up at the pitch black, unsightly scars of the sky, and think how horrendous, this world is, that birthed you from the same pain and agony you now refuse to see?

Why must I pull your hair, and dig a hole in front of you, to get you to finally listen to me?

Why must I be the one misunderstood, why must I fade away, like stars, and faint charcoal on a black board, or the hurdle you cause in a puddle?

I only want to live.
