The Milkshake Meeting

Donteatmecows

A milkshake knocked upon my door

And said, “Come out and play!”

Behind him stood a dozen more

All swirling in display.

They boogied on the tabletop,

They wiggled on the floor—

A frothy, fizzy festival

Of shakes galore.

They sang, “Be bold, be bright, be sweet!

Be brave in how you move!”

And every creamy, dreamy shake

Had something wise to prove.

So now when life feels wobbly,

Or my confidence might break— I

hear the tiny chorus

Of those fearless milkshakes.

  • Comment from author about the poem: A playful little fantasy about confidence, color, and charm—told through a parade of talking milkshakes. It’s meant to be fun, imaginative, and a reminder to stay bold in your own swirl.
