Cinematic
The film has moved on,
from that slate record
that played in my childhood,
my mother's records.
In those lives,
with their melodies,
still echoing today,
in the power of remembrance,
within this melancholic poem.
A life like a film, tinted
with scenes that turn into memories,
with those moments from the past that become stories,
where the older we grow,
the more we return to the past.
In that true cinema
that was us,
in the film
of the life
in those lives
----------
nuestra.

Carlos, I’ve had songs throw me back into old rooms before, so this landed for me. Music really does have a strange way of keeping our younger selves nearby. Great job on this. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thank you very much for swaying in those electric words, flying through the clouds of the internet until they take shape as poems.
