Sometimes it feels
Like yesterday
Has grasped my thought
Upon today
Once that feeling
Again to rise
Free of tears
So often cried.
Once when years
Were young
A sweetened Summer
A blazing sun
Dry grass pressed
Where we laid
Love was made
In teenage ways.
Once with tears
A broken heart
Loves first wound
You did depart
Yet still
To sometimes
Think of you
Do you think too ?

This one touched me Norman. Maybe we all have such a thought and feeling. The sting of nostalgia for something lost in a sunny past. Memories of a spring long ago when one is in fall. It touched me my friend. A fave.
Thanking you my friend, much appreciated
My pleasure Norman
Norman, this is tender and sad in that old-first-love kind of way...the memory is sweet, but that final wondering gives it the ache. Beautiful write. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
thanking you much appreciated my friend
Reminds me of those songs that sing about being too young to love, but that isn't so, I have found in many painful ways, lifetimes ago. Must moving, my friend 👍🏻🤩🕊️ a fave
Thanking you my friend, very much appreciated
Good write N. As we said to someone at that bus stop: 'Do you think too that a bus will turn up?' lol.
