You said
”I love you just the way you are”
I said
”Are you sure?”
You saw
the person that I truly am
I saw
you slowly drift away.
You thought
that you could make me different
I thought
I’m fine just the way I am.
You felt
regret for even meeting me
I felt
shame for being me.

A whole Relationship and it's different threads in a few lines. Good Write.
The only person we can change is ourselves!
A lovely write Franz too often we by the model and then want to add options later. It is not the same as factory made even if you get them and often it is not financially feasible. Further to be accepted for what someone wants you to be and not for what you are is a slap in the face. A lovely write.
Oof, Fränz...that hurt. Nobody should be made to feel ashamed simply because someone else discovered they couldn't accept who they actually were. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
