You know that you were not redeemed
With corruptible things, they deemed
Not able to save, silver, gold
But way of salvation now told
'Tis with the precious blood of Christ
For all humanity sufficed
He as a lamb without blemish
And without spot, He whole, true this
He truly, He was foreordained
In the Scriptures it is explained
That He before world's foundation
Should be Saviour of each nation
In these last days He to you shown
To you, Jesus, God's Son, now known
By Him you do in God believe
By Him salvation do receive
For God, He raised Christ from the dead
And gave Hm glory, He our Head
So that our faith and hope might be
In God now and eternally
