Hello old friend
It’s been long since we last spoke
When things got bad
You were the first to be revoked
Ive missed our dances, your warm embrace
The duality of a smile and a frown
You’ve always brought to my face
You are the land of the lost and my happy place
Welcome back old friend, I’ve opened my doors to you, once again.

Caveman, I like that you never tell us exactly who or what has returned. My mind went to several very different places, and not all of them were particularly friendly. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
This poem has the feel of reunion and a sense of joy and caring. It feels warm and open armed after a long separation. Well done
