Venom In her Lipstick

Rev. Lord C.M. Bechard

Notice of absence from Rev. Lord C.M. Bechard
I may not be around since reality loves to buckle and collapse at the most inconvenient times. I will eventually get back with you, once I conquer whatever is before Me making Me absent. But until then, wish Me luck, for I will need all I may muster.

Lyrics by: Rev. Lord CMB AKA Silfrinlogi

Verse 1

They say I’m cold, I’m cruel, disconnected,

But that came from love that kept gettin’ disrespected.

Raised on lies, backhanded truths, misdirected,

Got schooled by charm that bruised and neglected.

You call me heartless - I call it survival,

You built this mask, I just went viral.

Every scar a scripture in a lost man’s bible,

’Cause mercy’s a myth when manipulation’s tribal.

Chorus

Toxic meets toxic - that’s how it starts,

Venom in her lipstick, poison in my heart.

You made a monster, now I play my part,

Toxic meets toxic - now the world’s torn apart.

(Yeah -)

You blame the beast, but you fed the spark,

Venom in her lipstick, poison in my heart.

Verse 2

“Man up,” she said, while she twisted the knife,

Mocked every tear that could’ve saved a life.

If silence is strength, then I’m forged in strife,

’Cause empathy dies when deceit’s your wife.

Gaslight glow like a halo fake,

Angels with agenda, saints that snake.

They told us “protect,” but forgot the take

Now we’re guarding ghosts for our own mistake.

Bridge

Ain’t no healing when blame’s the prize,

When queens wear crowns made of alibis.

You want men soft, but you laugh when they cry,

Then rage when the mask is the only reply.

Final Chorus

Toxic meets toxic - that’s the art,

Venom in her lipstick, poison in my heart.

No saints here, just broken parts,

Toxic made toxic, now where’s the restart?

(Yeah -)

You burned the bridge, then called it smart,

Venom in her lipstick, poison in my heart.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this to the constant argument of all males being toxic. The abuse received by females is intense and never accepted as reality. Always dismissed to the detriment of all males. This will piss a lot of females off, but that's okay. It's tit for tat on that front. Toxicity begets toxicity. Hate begets hate. A cycle of madness that I will call out, every time. Don't like it, don't act like that. Here's a playlist of the same music I made with the same idea: https://suno.com/s/nLVxNhiCI64Yewtc Just a word of warning: not all females are toxic and keep the cycle going, just as not all males are toxic and keep the cycle going. This is a human condition that can only be stopped by humans. Not by gender roles or gender wars. Because that's all I've ever seen My whole life. Are we going to keep this madness up, or are we going to stop pigeonholing out of convenience or dominance because you are too scared to be a proper human? The choice is ours. Human up!
