Why...are there no colours
All I see are shades of gray
No basic three...I'm truly blind
I've lost the primal me
Red..is for the apple
Said start of all our sin
Yellow.. is the daffodil
The birth of spring's begin
Blue..is swaying gently
As young breeze begins to warm
Surrounded.. soon the canvas blooms
A little later on
Perhaps..long years of living
My time...bought by the boss
Perhaps..explains my jaded eyes
Is living.. worth the cost?
My connection.. to our mother earth
Tenuous..still genuine
Seems pretty close to...
Lost

A most interesting write that brings up many ideas. Is it that with age all things fade to gray that there is no more black and white. That well could be. Nicely written
I think I'm becoming jaded...not so eager for the day..perhaps it's age..or just weary of worries about everything..climate change..wars..blah blah blah
It may not be so bad nothing is black or white all is gray but gray is a good color too.
There’s something painfully familiar here, James. Sometimes you don’t notice how much has gone gray until you start remembering the colors. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
That's a good observation..ty
