Willy Loman

Kurt Philip Behm

The fear

of being common

a nightmare

defined

Caught in

the maelstrom

 late victims

of time

No effort

or consequence

of note

to stand out

The broken

unwashed

with life

dying out

A frightful

inclemence

luke warm

at its best

Those lost

Willy Lomans

as fate

— will bequest

The death of a salesman in this poem Gray. Nicely written.

Being cut from the same cloth it was a protracted schooling to learn to be content and to live with oneself peaceably. And to finally realise that if everyone is of consequence then consequence itself requires no audience. Once we find those that witness our being, however few or many, that may be the consequence that is of consequence. "Kilroy was here."

Kurt, Willy Loman is such a damn good figure for this. That terror of passing through life without ever becoming somebody can eat a person alive. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Yes. What we DON’T do and NEVER become is worse than anything we do.

This is why I left my kingdom to live amongst the common people.
Then I realised just how common they were.
      Back in my ivory tower.
