Time
a prisoner
in a Bedouin’s dream
Shadows
moving
on the sand
Distance
like bars
that trap you within
The farther you
travel
— the less you command

As I grow older this seems more and more true Kurt
Thanks again for reading and commenting. Age is the great teacher.
You are welcome Kurt and yes it is
This is strong, Kurt. It feels mystical, sparse, and philosophical, and the desert imagery gives the abstract idea of time a physical landscape.
Thanks Man. Great to hear from you.
Well, Kurt, you've managed to make me feel both philosophical and hopelessly lost in under a minute! 😂 I suppose that's what happens when we mistake movement for progress. Quite a thought-provoking little journey, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
