I lay exposed, my wound displayed
I was found in the strangest way:
A hand, and hair; in lightless day
A kiss that didn't seem dismayed
I was taken, careful and soft
Who was that there? A ghost? A wolf?
A creature no one could hear
whose power I was forced to bear.
And silence reigned, the loudest yawp
was in those eyes, icy and sharp—
He tucked me in when it was done
In an instant the ghost was gone.

Fantasy indeed and a young child is tucked in after a nightmare. Well written
