Tune: Heathlands
('God of mercy, God of grace')
Micah 7 v.7-8 and v.18-20
**********
I will look unto the Lord
Listen, for to hear His word
I will wait for the God, He
God of my salvation be
Rejoice not, my enemy
When I fall, I shall raised be
When I sit in darkness deep
The Lord still my soul shall keep
And be a light unto me
So clear the way I shall see
Nor forsook, nor forsaken
But by Him remembered then
Who is a God like to you?
Who pardons, forgives sins, true
He retains not His anger
To His people, but He sure
Delights in mercy, kindness
And with His love does us bless
He will turn again, He will
Have compassion on us still
Subdue our sins, will them cast
In to deep sea, they not last
And He will promises keep
Unto His people, His sheep
