Was Man a creation of God or God a creation of Man? Did the Earth evolve from a mass of exploding gases in the universe or the warmth and touch of an ethereal hand?
Were Adam and Eve our primordial parents or are we but decedents of unusually civilized apes?
The proof of each concept being fact is so confusingly balanced that it tears at our soul and keeps us in suspense, but soon the final answer will be revealed and maybe, just maybe... it might make sense!
Until then, Church and State, Religion and Science and all those other numerous organizations peddling their philosophies and potions, guaranteed to grant you Eternal Life, will just quarrel amongst themselves over the questions of existence, while the Earth, RIGHT NOW screams for Salvation!
Oh no! We must have overlooked something here. Why doesn't anyone care if SHE weeps in strife?

Questions of strife between men when greater issues prevail. Nicely written it brings up the issue of religion vs science and how it all boils down to the ongoing turmoil on the planet of ecology and war. Well done
Damn, Michael...I can live with unanswered questions. Itβs the refusal to do anything useful that pisses me off. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
Amen to that!
If you are going to set up a debate/fight then let it be between science and vested shortsighted self interest.
I cannot help but find myself in absolute sympathy with your conclusion, though.
