Dear little heart

ᴍᴏᴏɴ

My little love;
Where did you go?
High above?
on six feet below?

Ninth of October,
Tell me, why did you leave?
Gone with the breeze
Now you can't hear my pleas.

And I'd cry you a river
If it made you come back
I'd give up forever
To see you again

Dear little heart,
Open your eyes!
There's so much yet left
For you in your life

Dear Little Love
Where have you gone?
The night is growing cold
Is your soul warm?

My little mynx
My dear boy,
Dear little heart,
My sweetest joy,

Dear little Love,
Wherever you are
I hope there is peace
inside of your heart,

See you in heaven,
dear little heart.

This poem echoes sadness at loss. Cats live such a long time with a family that their loss becomes more painful. Some of the cats we have had lived longer with us than some of my children. Heart felt.
