LIBERATION - Liberación

Carlos Alberto BUSTILLOS

I have shed the skin that wrapped around me,
I have let the cold embrace me, naked.
Without garments, without fabrics, without false doctrines,
I have stopped pretending to be a little free,
I know I am one of the crowd.

 I am a slave,
 a naked slave,
 who refuses to be deceived,
in a world of deceptive appearances.

I live in a cave of darkness,
within the warmth of the cold.

 Revelation.
 Rebel.
 Madman.

 Rowing,
 against the current,
 nothing is what it seems.

 In a world of greed,
 an unstoppable world of shadows,
in the revelation of the final days,
I strip myself bare, I tear away my rags, free.

Free to think that I am a slave,
in the world of the Fourth Reich,
 within the perfect deception.

LIBERACION

 Rebelde.
 Loco.

 Remando,
 a contracorriente,
 nada es lo que parece.

En el mundo de la codicia,
 imparable mundo de las tinieblas,
en la revelación de los tiempos finales,
me desnudo, me arranco los harapos, libre.

Libre para pensar que soy un esclavo,
en el mundo del Cuarto Reich,
 en el engaño perfecto.

  • Friendship

    well written

And so we are all trapped in this world where breaking free means insanity being ostracized and maybe committed. Social beings we have to comply and thereby are enslaved by many masters. Nicely written Carlos

Freedom is a pretty nebulous concept, really. Your exploration of its contradictions hints at this and clearly lists some of these.
    Enjoyed the read.

I’m with you on questioning what we’re sold, Carlos…I don’t want another reassuring slogan. Tell me who benefits, who pays, and what happens when we say no. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
