She loved him enough
to stay and not leave
She loved him enough
no rest or reprieve
She loved him enough
to walk in the sand
She loved him enough
behind the wagon upland
She loved him enough
to leave what she knew
She loved him enough
her regret to eschew
She loved him enough
to bear him his young
She loved him enough
her song left unsung
She loved him enough
to make him a home
She loved him enough
braving hardship alone
She loved him enough
as the years stole her youth
She loved him enough
— always bearing the truth

Love is shown in many ways and fidelity is also shown in many ways here a woman shows it through sticking through the hard times for a man. Nicely written Kurt
Thanks. I live on the original Conestoga Road in Pennsylvania.
I lived in the Salt Lake Valley as a child and have heard the pioneer story many times with covered wagons and hand carts.
Yep, it took tough people to be sure. I keep 2 of my motorcycles in
Idaho falls and fly in and out of Salt Lake.
Too dry there for me married and moved around the west till moved to Florida and Brazil
The land of Ayrton Senna.
As a parent, Kurt, I found myself thinking about my daughters…I’d want them loved with that much commitment in return. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Daughters are special. My oldest is a girl and she is the light of my life. Thanks Tristan.
