Dear Berlin, take care of him,
For I am too far away.
Unburden him and let him rest,
Don’t be too cold, please warm his bed.
Keep him fit and fine and in good health
Keep him well fed with your German bread,
Show him the brutalist buildings and pretty sights,
Show him how you truly come to life at night.
Dear Berlin, take care of him,
It isn’t a lot to ask.
It shouldn’t be hard; he’s quite tough.
Dear Berlin, take care of my love.

I love the wish and the plea put in poetic verse. Nicely done and a fave
Thanks Soren!
My pleasure
Berlin will take care of him in more ways than one.
It will broaden his horizons and make him a better person.
Thanks, I hope so!
