Citizens Cornucopia

Tune: Monks Gate

('He who would valiant be')

Revelation 7 v.13-17

*********

Who these around God's throne?

Worship Him alone

They who through great trouble

Came, e'en one and all

Have washed their robes, and made

Them in clean white displayed

Washed in blood of the Lamb

Christ Jesus His name

Therefore are they before

Throne of God e'ermore

They serve Him day and night

In His temple bright

God who sits on the throne

Each one to Him is known

He shall among them dwell

His presence they tell

They shall hunger no more

Nor thirst, it be sure

Neither shall the sun smite

Them with its heat, light

For the Lamb in the midst

Shall feed them, this He wist* (*wills, knows)

Shall be their shepherd still

Keep them from all ill

And shall lead them unto

Living founts, renew

Them with waters, fresh springs

Refreshment them brings

And God shall wipe away

All tears from eyes that day

Citizens of heaven

Blessed eternal then
