he missed her like she was all he ever had
Which do was true to some aspect
At times his delusional mind
tells him that she misses him too
Though deep down his heart knows
that it's farthest from what's true
Because he knew that a part of him is with her
Despite of how and what she was
Every moment felt lifeless and blur
In search of how and where she was
Just a glimpse of her was all he craved
Just a smile of hers made him feel okay
In his soul she was ever so deeply engraved
Even her scent from afar could make his heart race
And what a weird pain stood in between the distance
False hope kept him living for a "happy ending coincidence"
His unsaid feelings intensified, taking over his conscience
And all he questioned was, "How much more patience?"
He never knew this was the limit
to which one could go for love
As he hurriedly got out without a coat
As he tore through the crowd with a shove
The clock was ticking, time hurrying
As if it never wanted him to reach
To what for years he was buryin
Dear God just this time
Only this time let her be mine
and I'll stop hiding
Please let my beloved be mine this time
Slow down the time, hurry up my legs
Let me reach to my beloved,
let me talk to her one last time
Let me show her what I've hidden in my heart
For so long its been decades
Please let me be with her
Just this once show me mercy
Give me one thing that makes me whole
I no longer want to be alone
I lied when I let her go
That I could live without my love
So much I didn't get to show
I long to express what I buried low
Oh how much I love you It pains me each day
To think of a life where I'd not be at your bay
Just this time grant my yearn
for that one wish I'm willing to learn
I won't run away or shut down
when things are tough
I'll survive and try each time everyday

An unrequited love leads to obsession in this poem and the inability to turn loose of a thought chains him to the past. Well written
