Straight Line

RSM0812

Obsession first, betrayed the wise,

As faith immortal compromise.

Till death endures the quiet state.

The drumming noise grows faint.

Then distant wheels, through circles tall,

Rebound from fortitude of all.

Rehearsed as will, as seasons grow.

Into the universe, upon the row.

An enigma in words cast in rhyme that flows and circles round until it has found a straight line. Well done
