Released and Restored

Tune: Lyons

('Ye servants of God, your master proclaim')

Zephaniah 3 v.14-20

**************

Sing, O people of Zion, for joy shout

Be glad and rejoice, let praises ring out

With all your heart, Jerusalem's people

The Lord has taken away your judgements all

He has cast out your enemy, the Lord

Of Israel is He, and true to His word

He is in your midst, you shall evil no more

See, fear not, be strong, trust in the Lord now sure

The Lord your God in midst of you mighty

He will save, will rejoice o'er you plenty

Look on you with joy, and will in His love rest

Will joy o'er you with singing, give you His best

Will gather them, they that be sorrowful

For faithlessness there, it does them appal

Behold, at that time the Lord, He will undo

All that afflict His people, will them renew

Will save vulnerable, and will gather

Them that were driven out, He their Father

He will get His people praise and fame where'er

They have been put to shame, now blessings shall share

At that time the Lord will bring them again

Back to their land, gathering them there then

He will make them a praise among all people

When releasing them from captivity full

LOL! Orchi, I warned them the catch-and-release program at the glug hole ended years ago! Now Popeye's demanding restoration of his fishing license, Olive's threatening legal action, and Obi-Wan insists the whole thing falls under maritime law! 😂🌹🖤🙏

Thank you T. lol. Yes, Popeye & Co have even wormed their way into the lesser-known Old Testament Minor Prophets. lol.
