Humanity

Cerise456

What if the world stopped crumbling

The pieces started aligning

Hate stopped spreading

And we kept reading

What about a world with endless possibilities

In which studying the humanities

Never meant settling for a crappy job

Do they want us to just rob?

Failed systems in which humans are trapped

We are attacked

Finally my turn to turn eighteen

And not be the clueless Tween

The one that didn't think

The one that wasn't rational

And in a blink

Multinational

A poem that reminds me of John Lennon's Imagine. Humanities are courses to improve your vision not put money in your pocket in a capitalistic society. Dream and dream big with expectations to take the blows. A good write

All of the worlds problems are down to old people.
From Trump to Putin and the rest of them.
Get them into old folks homes and make the world a better place.

You are so right about this, such a sick sad world if you ask me, but one shall always remain hopeful (:

Neuroscience states that the brain does not reach full maturity until around 25. I have a feeling however that you are going to get there much earlier.
