Be more like Jesus.
Even when you are misunderstood,be more like Jesus.
Even when you are betrayed,
be more like Jesus.
Even when you are rejected,
be more like Jesus.
Even when you are wronged,
be more like Jesus.
Even when forgiveness feels impossible,
be more like Jesus.
Even when the road is dark
and the horizon is nowhere in sight,
be more like Jesus.
When your flesh wants revenge choose grace.
When your heart feels bitter, choose forgiveness.
When the world tells you to harden your heart, choose love.
Not because people deserve it,
but because He is worthy of it.
Keep your eyes on Jesus.
Keep your heart surrendered.
Keep becoming more like Him.
Jesus. Always Jesus.

- Comment from author about the poem: In this season, I’ve been learning to fix my eyes on Jesus, even in the midst of my circumstances. Even when things don’t make sense, when I’m misunderstood, or when the road ahead seems unclear, I’m reminded that my calling remains the same to become more like Him. To love when it’s hard. To forgive when it hurts. To remain gentle when I have every reason to be frustrated. To trust Him when I cannot see the bigger picture. Because at the end of the day, it’s not about how others treat me, but how faithfully I reflect Christ through it all.
