Tune: Wareham
('Jesus, where'er thy people meet')
Psalm 132 v.13-18
************
For the Lord has chosen Zion
Desired it, His habitation
This is His resting place for e'er
He will from it depart now ne'er
He will there dwell, for He desired
It, and His people has inspired
He will abundantly provide
Supplies of food He will not hide
He also will clothe Zion's priests
With salvation, greatest to least
Her people shall shout loud for joy
Worship and praises shall employ
There will He make the kingly line
Of David to bud, prosper fine
He has for him a lamp ordained
God's anointed one there proclaimed
David's enemies He will clothe
With shame, attitude to them loathe
But for David and descendants
Crowns shall flourish, they shall reign hence

A great hymn proclaiming the home of the Lord and his preparation and ruling of it. Nicely done Orchi
Thank you SB.
Always a pleasure my friend
Wonderful hymn, Orchi! Though I fear Ol' Tom has already filed an application for permanent residence in the heavenly choir. They rejected him after the third knitting recital! LOL! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thank you T. lol.
