Fruitful Fulness

Tune: St George's, Windsor [Series: Hymns with Saints Tunes 2]

('Come, ye thankful people, come')

Psalm 65 v.6-13

***********

By His strength the Lord does set

The mountains, they stand firm yet

They are girded with power

They immovable each hour

And He stills noise of the seas

Quietens waves as He does please

Makes people's strivings to cease

Brings in harmony and peace

Even unto distant lands

Folk see the works of His hands

They stand in awe, outgoings

Of morns, eves, each of them sings

He visits the earth, waters

It, causes rains, showers stirs

With river of God waters

It, prosperity confers

He does for the earth provide

Where inhabitants reside

Ridges, furrows of the fields

Showers unto them revealed

Makes the land soft, crops do grow

So He does His blessings show

Crowns the year with His goodness

Plenteous harvest, we confess

Land brings forth abundantly

His provision all do see

Pastures they are with flocks clothed

On them His graces bestowed

Valleys covered o'er with grain

Corn flourishes once again

Even they shout for joy, sing

Creation worship Him brings

Orchi, Popeye has demanded that the hymn be rewritten in 7.7.7.7.7.7.7.SPINACH! The choirmaster has resigned, and nobody knows where the organist went. 😂 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
