People

without stories

are like dust

in the wind

The mark

of their passing

blowing lost

— in the din

One thing about writing in this internet age ... is nothing gets forgotten.

Damn, Kurt. There's something genuinely sad about the thought of an entire life passing without anyone remembering it. Makes me appreciate the people who've taken the time to share their stories. A sobering little write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

American Indians did it best. Without a written language everything came down to
            storytelling.

I remember a Old African saying that goes : When a Old man dies: A library Burns.
            So Stories must be told.
            Well said.

Love that saying. Thanks. American Indians feel the same way.

My Father who was a WW2 and Korean War Vet, told me many Stories that I pass on .👍

My father was a WW2 & Korean War Marine and I wish he had. He never
                  talked about it.

In Korea my Father met a U.S. Soldier who wanted a Rifle he had . So they Swapped. A have a Photograph on the Wall with him and his Men Infront of a U.S. Army Truck that he got for the Rifle. 😆
I thank your Father for his Service.
