Intelligence: An Index of Being Civilized!
It took
Humans
much more
than
Horses
to live,
despite
their diverse colors,
peacefully.
Do (humans) they?

This write is so deeply philosophical and at the same time social its complexity lies in the wording as well as the comparison. There is a reason why we say horse sense meaning common sense for amongst humans it is not common. Why we focus on the outside of the skin when what matters is beneath the skin continues to amaze me. A lovely write my friend.
Thank you so much, my dear friend, for such a thoughtful and perceptive interpretation. You have beautifully captured the deeper philosophical and social layers of the piece. Your reflections on common sense and the importance of looking beneath the surface are especially meaningful. It is truly rewarding when a reader engages so deeply with the thoughts behind the words. I am sincerely grateful for your kindness, insight, and generous encouragement.
always a pleasure reading a worthy poets work
I would say most animals are above us.
This might be through need, not greed like us humans.
Thank you for sharing your perspective. I believe there is much truth in your words. Animals often live by instinct and necessity, while we humans sometimes allow greed to overshadow our compassion. Perhaps they have something profound to teach us.
