A Good Title A Bad Title

Anthony Hanible

A good title

Bright recital

Climbs vital

Mile by mile

A bad title

Bland survival

Stacks denial

File by file

A good title

Lifts the soul

Fills the hole

Makes broken whole

A bad title

Drags the feet

Drops the beat

Turns gold to sleet

Up the hill

Thrill by thrill

Ink can spill

Yet bend to will

Down the stair

Bare despair

Cold as air

Nowhere there

A good title

Plants a seed

Feeds a need

Grows the reed

A bad title

Chokes the root

Mutes the flute

Swallows fruit

Up to stars

Past the scars

Through the bars

Healing wars

Down through doubt

Inside out

Twist and shout

Dim the route

A good title

Rings a bell

Casts a spell

Draws you well

A bad title

Slams a gate

Tempts your fate

Arrives too late

So name it light

Or name it blight

Wrong or right

Day or night

The good titles fly

The bad titles fall

Yet both leave marks

Upon the wall

I would have to agree Anthony a title can make or break a poem, story or film. Nicely written my friend
