where darkness is deep and where kindness wears a mask
And hearts grow weary in the testing light,
Amidst the noise, we search for love a task that's seems so distant
filled with an endless night.
Trust, like the fine glass can shatter with a breath,
In every smile there's a hint of hidden fear,
Yet still we strive despite the threat of death to find a connection to hold our loved ones dear.
Though rough is the world we live in, with every cold embrace
in the barren lands, we cultivate with grace and nurture dreams that once felt all alone.
For life, it whispers "seek, though love may hide in seeking life, true love will abide."

This poem speaks of love and the difficulty of discerning and showing it in a complex world. Nicely done
I think there is still lots of love in the world, maybe just not recognised enough.
Hate for some reason, gets 24/7 coverage, we gloat on it.
I still think love comes knocking when you stop looking for it.
