A girl in shadow, her dreaming too large
And unto her goals, she always shall charge
But what awaits her, when childhood is done
Will dreams all but crumble, under the sun
Trying her best to accomplish in school
Bullied for her weight and called but a fool
Still she did strive, be the best that she could
Embodiment of altruism, good.
Working through ATAR, she strives for a life
that is simple, kind and free of all strife
She prays for the days, where happiness grow
where violence and war are buried in snow
Through power of music, she trusts in song
To sing and invite everyone along
Though bliss she creates, she can’t make mistakes
The eyes on her back, cut through her like rakes.
