There is a pause between breaths, a space between steps, that time before one second joins another
It is that gap between a touch, that unsaid word, where two thoughts are not yet conjoined
A hesitation, a spot of indecision on a fulcrum of balance between past and future
It is here that one remains a frog or becomes a prince

As I adore frogs I'd say stay as one, who needs a prince? 🐸 Wonderful reflection for the reader. 🌹

Thanks Teddy for the review and comment. Staying a frog is not all bad it keeps the flies and mosquitos down. I love frogs as well and one lives in my bathroom.
