You find yourself walking
Trust, you've compromised
You walk with no direction
Just a place in mind
The walking is worrying
The path shows no end
You're sure you'll be alright
But you still question the descent
Have you not heard the story
Of the man that doubt had burned
He jumped in the abyss
To plead his love to be returned
So he was told to tread the path
Alone, until the light
That his love would follow him
But he is not to dare look behind
Have firm faith in your fate
And know some doubts you'll have
Eurydice was right behind him
If only Orpheus hadn't looked back
