Me?
Nobody but your future
The very air you breathe
The very air that embraces you
My voice?
Your beauty is stuck in my throat
Drowning, yet I welcome every gulp
Me?
Nobody but your past
Drowned, still mute
The air that never embraced you
My voice?
Resurfaced yet unwilling
To breathe or to sink

There is a sense of recognition and gratitude in this work. Nicely done
