Our scopes spot a shot in the dark of blind sight,
the safety grip off triggers a red bullseye flight.
I'm far from impeccable class or raised height,
my status with you will be left next to your right.
Lean forward to teddy soft hugs I'll wrap up tight,
call in a sweet favor and for you babe I just might.
Laugh or grin face it I'm a funny honeypot spotlight,
we'll fight I'll punch line in care till we're both right.
No bent facts, match to burn, or stove to gaslight,
our flame burns to cook what we crave for appetite.
Check your watch, it's the date, only hours to write,
a fine vow for us not to let each one hold onto spite.
Let's grow grey in the day and be young by midnight,
wear that suit in dark black and I'll wear bright white.
