Should I beat my breast if you ended nailed
to a pilar of infamy ?
I didn't ask you to redeem my soul !
The imprecators of the faith and the sevants of the law
dragged me to the stake for failing to love my neighbor...
I'm not to blame for those trains that set out
for a one-way journey .
Beauties wear cyanotic perfumes and succumb
to the charms of cynical inccubi ...
Light the fires of the hellish candelabras ,
next year in the heavenly Jerusalem !
Let's all dive crescendo into the hysteric bolero !
I'm not responsible for the wayward girls
who rebell against the walls and give in
to the lure of the streets ...
'' Mirror,mirror my jolly mirror ,
am I still that slut waiting for the pretty pumpkin ?''
The dogs stop just for a few seconds
to sniff you and run off ,wagging their tails ...
Only the white lady shows you compassion .
I have nothing to do with the beginning
and end of the comedy .
Children's stories are lies and moms have no time
to tell them ...
At dawn ,I'd harvest the iron from those rigid hands.
This regal metal could enhance another king's skin !
I'd moor the midnight train at the pier bound
for the stars ,waiting for the misty passengers .
And after making a deal with the white lady ,
I'd fall asleep happy ...
Escaping the boredom of home ,
to get my fill of freedom !
Who still believes in fairy tales ?
Not guilty my lord !
