Chapter I: The Calling
In my anguish; he beckons me
But I couldn't see His light
A light so blinding, it leaves me without vision-
and in the light, He calls me
Yes, the light
The precious light, that I longed for
And in my madness, I forgot, His sacred light
I wish to go home to His warmth;
This unholy soil is so cold
And everything is so repulsive-
I can't stand the sight
Of a world so wretched, so devoid and lacking of beauty
And beauty that could never be found, but could be restored
So Father needs a sacrifice
A person who is willing to sacrifice oneself; to cleanse this earth
Of it's vileness, and it's impurity
The repugnance is a festering sore, one that has plagued these lands-
For long enough
Chapter II: The Sacred Sacrifice
My time arises; the bell tolls
My holy purpose, my one true calling is here
To cleanse this earth, with my blood
So it shall run deep through the soil, and purify the soil and flowers will bloom
O' Lord, thank you for bringing me this light
The light that is absolute; I will purify life
Purify the hideous soil, and the vile demons, that roam the night
All in the name, of the Lord's might
So I will take this blade-
This holy blade, that reflects in the shining moonlight
And I stand at the edge of the world
With the ground beneath my feet
And I will drag this blade-
This sacred blade
And listen to the sound of skin being separated from flesh
Then my blood shall, my beautiful blood; shall pour down into the earth, and become one with soil and water alike
And then, I will spread my arms
My wings will spread, becoming the angel I was to mature
And I will soar!
