Tune: St James (Courteville) [Series: Hymns to Saints Tunes 13]
('Thou art the Way, by thee alone')
Psalm 100
*********************
Make joyful noise to Lord, all lands
Praise, sing , clap, and raise hands
To Him, and serve Him with gladness
His intent to you bless
Come before His presence singing
To Him your worship bring
Know that the Lord, that He God be
The great Creator, see
It is He that has made us, we
Made not ourselves, so be
We are His people, and His sheep
He in His pasture keeps
Enter into His gates thankful
Come unto church, temple
And enter in His courts with praise
Thanks give, His name upraise
For the Lord is good, His mercy
It everlasting be
And His truth endures unto all
Generations, hear [His] call

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 8.6.8.6. I sneaked in a poem under slightly false pretences recently, saying the tune was 'St James' Air'. it is in fact 'Brother James' Air'. But this one is St James!
